First Lines, 11/09/13
First lines of the novel, “KING JEREMY, THE WICKED,” that I probably won't be writing today:
"The destruction began long before that incident on the playground. It started in the womb. It festered in a lonely crib, as soon as he was brought home from Seattle's Mercy West Hospital. It blossomed with the infrequent bottle-feedings and unattended nights. The unhappiness of dirty diapers and unanswered cries - a feral child made famous by bad behavior."
